Holy Smokes!... Sock Monkey is loose in the city!....

Tonight it's Three20s from 8:00 to midnight, and tomorrow we play The Big Room at Cartoon's Oyster Bar & Grill. Two great venues in the city of Springfield, and Sock Monkey will be there for all of the Cinco de Mayo festivities!

Anticipation...

Matt and Rus during set-up for the Sock Monkey gig this past Saturday at the Irish FunFest, here in Springfield. We got a few sprinkles early on, and it was a bit cool, but the weather ended up being just fine.
I like this picture... it just seems to have an energy to it. Potential, I guess you could call it. It was one of those rare nights when everything (pretty much) went off without a hitch. The stage felt good, the sound was rockin' and the band was in rare form. It ended up being a good night of rock & roll... and you really can't ask for much more. That's the way it's supposed to be.
